NICA prepares commission settlements on a regular basis, automatically deducting any fees, escrow, or other deductions that Independent Contractors may elect to withhold. ICs are provided with an insurance policy that covers work-related injuries, medical and disability expenses with an Accidental Death & Dismemberment benefit at competitive rates.
NICA also offers Limited Health Benefit Plans to its affiliated members with three benefit plan options to choose from. This gives Independent Contractors the opportunity to choose the plan that best fits their specific needs and budget. NICA also prepares annual Federal and State tax returns for affiliated Independent Contractors as well as their estimated tax payments. The NICA tax team is on-hand to assist ICs in gathering the appropriate business expense documentation to properly report their net business income.
